FM MIDI Synth - Recorded MP3s

This is a collection of full MP3s of MIDI files being played on my very old 'Creative Sound Blaster' soundcard's synth (a Yamaha OPL FM synthesizer chip). The synth sounds very electronic (especially its percussion), often sounding 8-bit, so you'll probably like the MP3s if you're a chip-tune fan.
All MP3s are encoded at VBR quality 3 using the LAME MP3 Encoder, which is high enough to not have to worry about nasty-sounding compression artifacts. VBR encoding may make some media players miscalculate the playing time of the file. This is because most media players look at only the bitrate of the first few seconds of the file, and the filesize, and do some simple maths to work out an estimate of the playing time. This works well for CBR (constant bitrate) files, but since the bitrate of a VBR (variable bitrate) file can change so much, the estimate is sometimes way off.

For some reason, these 2 MIDIs (06 and 07) are very long (original lengths shown in bold). They effectively loop several times, so I faded them off after they effectively played fully at least 2 times.

This MIDI, after effectively looping at about 1/5 of the way through total playback, turns to only percussion and loops a further 4 or so times (this is not a fault of a media player - the MIDI really has this data in it, and a whopping half-a-megabyte filesize to match it). Therefore, from a little over half-way onwards, it's like an electronic percussion solo. =D
